As increasing numbers of Filipinos mind towards the UAE and across the world trying to build their careers that are own data show that greater part of them are Filipino ladies – planning to offer an improved future for the families they have kept home.
The report that is latest associated with Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) suggest that Filipino ladies comprise of 53.7per cent or 1.26 million associated with final amount of OFWs throughout the world, more than males (46.3percent or 1.08 million). The report through the PSA’s study carried out between April and September 2017 adds that nearly a million of those reside that is OFWs the UAE.
Ambassador Hjayceelyn Quintana shared as in distress that she understands and sympathizes with Filipino women who have encountered many challenges in their lives as OFWs: “As a woman put in a position where I am, it gives me more understanding of the vulnerabilities of the women who see themselves. That’s the bonus, ” said Quintana.
Dr. Yasmin Balajadia-Cortes, wife of Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes and mind for the Filipino women of Dubai said that Filipina leaders should look beyond genders and start to become a figure that is inspiring other people to emulate, it doesn’t matter what their sex is: “A girl leader inspires both women and men in order to become better peoples beings, bearing in mind that whenever a girl leader handles people, she does therefore without sex bias and prejudice.
