Global Gaming Expo Big Business in Las Vegas
Avatar, the casino game, was revealed during the latest gaming that is global (G2E) in Las Vegas this week
Anyone that is anyone within the gambling industry could be present in Las Vegas this week; that is where the worldwide Gaming Expo happens to be occurring, a gathering of 25,000 attendees who are all interested in seeing where in actuality the worldwide gambling market will be headed over the next year.
Easing Up on Regulations Major Focus
At the conference known as G2E there have been amount of major issues discussed. United states Gaming Association leader Geoff Freeman noted that their biggest priority are to push state regulators to unify and lighten up the laws on the casino industry within the United States, in order making it easier for companies to innovate throughout the country.
‘Our industry is not allowed to update because of the regulatory environment,’ Freeman stated. ‘That’s something we have to address. We want to be controlled. Nonetheless, you can find places that it crosses the line and really affects innovation and makes us less competitive. Each state that is new occurs feels as though they need to turn the screws just a little bit tighter than the one before.’
But before any of the many important issues facing the industry could get attention, the meeting was kicked off with a spectacular opening ceremony and all of the glitz and glamour that the realm of gambling has to offer.
After Freeman’s starting remarks to welcome attendees, a comedy group performed though according to a report from the Associated Press, that don’t get much of the reaction through the crowd.
